The time is somewhere around 1450 BC. The newborn Roman Empire is starting to rise in the West. The Great civilizations of the Greeks, the Persians, and the Egyptions are still in power. The first vestiges of civilization are just beginning to crop up in Japan, which is still a tribal society. Demons of frightening power are almost as common as humans now. Some are worshiped as gods. Others are seen for what they truly are and feared. Five particularly great demons exist, ruling over the now mighty demon empire than spans the entire globe. They are known as the demon lords and they have no equals, save for them selves.

 Airore Region
« Result #3 on Jul 30, 2009, 11:34am »

Name: The Airore Region
URL: http://airoreregion.proboards.com/index.cgi

Main Attractions: Airore is a true 'Gotta catch 'em all' style pokemon forum, where all pokemon are availible for capture, including legendaries. Due to our background plot, there are a lot of shinies running around our region. Members also have to deal with the plotting of Team Chaos, bent on destroying the world. We are brand new, in search of active members and staff.

Background Plot:In the beginning, there was Arceus. He created the first legendary pokemon and gave them powers in order to create the world of pokemon. Though there were a couple of obstacles and tricky parts, eventually the world was complete.
A certain pokemon, one of the first three ever created, was called Giratina. It was given the ability to travel between realities, in order to keep the balance between Arceus' creations. It fulfilled its task well, and slipped unnoticed between realms.
But even gods make mistakes.
When leaving the world of pokemon, a floating speck of unorganized matter cause Giratina to sneeze. It was a perfectly natural reaction, but it had unintended consequences. Giratina sneezed at the moment that its power to shift was at its peak. This power was accidentally released by Giratina's sneeze, and another reality was created.
This new reality was almost identical to the one Giratina had just left, but some things had changed. The shiny hue that was normally so rare in the first dimension was now more prevalent among the pokemon. The legendary pokemon that had been set up as guardians in the original realm had been stripped of their awesome powers, and were no longer one of a kind. Many of the natural cycles were reversed. The sun rose in the west and set in the east. The moon waxed and waned in the opposite direction. The humans had bizarre features, such as green hair and purple eyes.
For a long while, about a century of our time, Giratina was in a panic. It was especially bothered by the weaker versions of itself, and the great Arceus. But when nothing disastrous occurred, Giratina relaxed. It let the world continue to exist, keeping a watchful eye on the new dimension, watching in case this accidental creation upset the balance of the universe. It named this mistake Airore.
Airore: Where mistakes become legend and bad luck rides on the air.

 Inuyasha: Twisted Dimension
« Result #4 on Jul 24, 2009, 12:01am »

Everything was left unsolved. Naraku and his incarnates lived, the Shikon no Tama was still exceedingly incomplete, Kohaku was still allied with Naraku against his knowing, and everything was like it had always been.

Disaster shook everyone in the Feudal Era. The lands turned to filth, the air polluted and crops dead. Farm animals had no food, and suddenly villages were plunged into poverty. An unknown force had risen, higher than Naraku and much more anonymous. It began with only a few villages and patches of land, but it is now spreading. And to discover the source and defeat it, allegiances will be tested, bonds will be broken, and most of all, evil will consume.

K, thank you Divus for taking proactive steps for the site. I would like to apologize for my absence. All I can say is that bronchitis sucks! I've been bedridden for the past several weeks due to my weak respiratory system, but I have returned.

{Eclipsed}

All the worlds have finally found peace and tranquility with each other, and so live amongst one another in harmony.

However, the entirety of Organization XIII still remains (non)existent. Though aside from the unfortunate circumstances, Sora has successfully located Riku, who has fortunately retained his original appearance.

Incidentally, Nobodies are running amock and, combined with the Heartless, causing more chaos than ever. Together, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, and others seek to completely destroy the Organization.

Since Battojin's absence has extended to a length unhealthy to the site, I am now the new admin. Should he return I will restore leadership of the site to him unless he does not want it. From here on out, however, I am the administration.

 Re: The Netherspawn Clan
« Result #10 on Mar 16, 2009, 6:48pm »

Introduction

The Abbavae are the weapons of the Netherspawn clan, led by Divus, the demon lord of darkness. They make their users stronger and offer them powers, but at the cost of their life force, and if overused, their very soul. They evolve depending on how much they eat, and their strength depends on both the wielder and what stage of use they are in as well as their level. You can recover after using them however, meaning that your life force will replenish itself with time after a battle.

Abbavae typically appear as strange, vicious weapons with flesh and an eye. Said eye is known as the nucleus; its like the very brain and core of the Abbavae. Normally, Abbavae don't have hilts, instead they have a mouth or something else of which the user puts their arm through. Slowly, the fleshy parts cover the user's body, and through them the Abbavae eats the wielder's life force.

Levels

Levels for standard Abbavae range from 1-20. Each level you have determines how high the stat boost you obtain from a Abbavae is. Each level counts as 10 stat points. They're allocated accordingly, determined by the Abbavae's birth attribute focus and it's evolution. Fusion Abbavae, however, which are explained later, are different.

Tiers

Abbavae have four different power tiers, intended for users of different strengths. Their differences and specific traits are listed below. A Abbavae's level determines it's tier.

Lesser Power Tier: Levels 1-5

One ability. The lowest tier. Your stamina stat needs to be at least 40 to wield this tier of Abbavae. Your stamina stat has to be at least 90 to have control over the Abbavae.

In this tier, the nucleus is blue with a large pupil.

Intermediate Power Tier: Levels 6-12

Two abilities. Your stamina stat needs to be at least 120 to be able to use this tier of Abbavae, and it needs to be at least 200 to control it.

In this tier, the Abbavae nucleus is yellow with a normal pupil.

High Power Tier: Levels 13-19

Three abilities. Your stamina stat has to be at least 250 to wield this type of Abbavae, and more than 300 to control it.

In this tier, the Abbavae nucleus is red with a slit pupil.

Dark Side: Levels 20-25

Four abilities. To wield this Abbavae, you need to either have it as a fusion Abbavae, or have two hundred stamina. If it is a Fusion Abbavae, you can wield it. However, the stat bonus you receive from stages will be halved until you get more than two hundred stamina. If its not a Fusion Abbavae, you'll actually get more stat bonus from stages, 50% more. To wield this type of Abbavae you need at least 325 stamina.

In the Dark Side tier however, the Abbavae is strong and evolved enough to have a mind of it's own, not just one that is part of and dependent on the collective mind that most Abbavae share. It can speak freely, think, hear, and see. Its like a spirit. It however is still blindly loyal to Divus. They can take over your body in this stage and replace your consciousness with their own for a short period of time, in the fifth stage, fighting in an extreme and skilled, although wild manner.

In the Dark tier the Abbavae eye is black with a red slit pupil.

Stages of Use

The level of which a Abbavae is being used also determines a bonus, described below. Unlike levels, use stages allow you to allocate the boost points you obtain to whatever stats you want to apply them to, which also add to the boost from your Abbavae's level.

Standard Use: Totally safe

First stage - +0 Stat boost, in addition to level bonus.

In this stage, the Abbavae tentacles, or whatever it uses to connect to the user, engulf a portion of the body equal to that of a hand and forearm. The user experiences a very faint feeling of blood lust and also feels slightly more confident.

Second stage - +10 Stat boost, in addition to level bonus.

In this stage, the Abbavae covers an area of the user's body equal to that of an arm up to the shoulder. The user begins to feel more aggressive, and becomes slightly overconfident.

Overuse: You die if you stay in this classification of overuse for more than twenty posts.

Third Stage - +30 Stat boost, in addition to level bonus.

In this stage the Abbavae covers an area of the user's body equal to that of an arm, shoulder, and more than half of the torso. You will only feel half of the pain you should feel, but you will also become dangerously overconfident and very violent. You are under heavy influence by your emotions, and think that the Abbavae is not a threat to your life. In this stage red light shines from your mouth and eyes brightly. But this does not effect you in a negative way at all, you can still see and speak normally. The light may be a different color depending on the Abbavae. However, you will only feel a fifth of the pain you should feel, and will become tired at a far slower rate than normal, being able to fight in a berserk and relentless manner. Upon entering this stage and the other upper stages, the user also feels revitalized.

One who has control over their Abbavae can enter this stage for eight posts without the negative effects, and can do it twice in one thread.

Fourth Stage - +60 Stat boost, in addition to level bonus.

In this stage, the Abbavae covers an area of the body equal to that of an arm, torso, abdomen, and possibly more. The user becomes highly overconfident, and wants to kill almost anyone, except for those whom they have high emotional attachment to. The only other exception is for other beings who have Abbavae. The user becomes rather omnipotent, thinking that they are invincible. In this stage, your Abbavae will instantly repair itself if broken. Also, fire identical to the color of the Abbavae's stamina shoots from your eyes and mouth. But this does not effect you in a negative way at all. You are, however, at the mercy of your emotions and the Abbavae's decisions. However, you will also not feel tired at all, and be able to fight until you're killed. Its similar to doing PCP.

One who has control over their Abbavae can enter this stage for four posts without the negative effects, and can do it once in one thread. In doing so, they will replenish a third of their energy/health, but it doesn't heal you.

Fatal Overuse: You'll die in five posts of using this stage.

Fifth Stage - +100 stat bonus

In this stage the user thinks that they are a god, and are totally covered by their Abbavae, with some exceptions like eyes, mouth, and maybe a couple of other spots. You won't feel pain at all, and will be able to fight at full throttle tirelessly.... until you die. Fire and static will blare out of your eyes and mouth, although this effects you in no way. Also your Abbavae will instantly be able to repair itself if damaged or broken, but you'll die in five posts as said. Your only hope of coming out of this stage alive is by beating your opponent before you die.

Fusion Abbavae

Fusion Abbavae are different from regular Abbavae. They're actually a part of your being and existence. With them, you can remain in all of the stages without dying, but only for a limited time before you revert to the lower stages. Also, you will not die, nor will your soul be slowly eaten. You can stay in the third and fourth stages for up to twenty five posts, and your body is always covered by your Abbavae, but like armor instead of tentacles, roots, or whatever. Said armor is able to repel sealed Zanpakuto with relative ease, almost like hierro. The only stage that doesn't change is the fifth stage; you die after five turns of using the fifth stage even if its a Fusion Abbavae. Fusion Abbavae get 12 stat points per level instead of 10.

However, if you have a fusion Abbavae, you'll also inherit it's loyalty to Divus, and you will not be able to control it. You will also get the omnipotence and other effects of the stages.

Leveling Up Abbavae

Abbavae level up with you. For every two fights you have, or every two trains you do, your Abbavae gains a level, if it was used in those trains or fights. But your Abbavae level cannot exceed the limit of your stamina stat, meaning that if you're not strong enough to wield the next tier of Abbavae, your Abbavae will cease to evolve until you become strong enough to wield the next tier.

If you level it to the high power tier, you can ask Divus to turn your Abbavae into a fusion Abbavae. But at the cost of this, you will have to obey his orders, or else he will either have your Abbavae kill you, or he will remove it from your body, which is horribly painful and possibly fatal. Fusion Abbavae can replace lost limbs or organs since they exist inside your body and are accepted by it as a part of it. But they are no longer weapons that exist externally, although they can be something like a sword that sprouts from your body, yet they must be connected at all times.

Fusion Abbavae can reach level 25.

Drawbacks to Abbavae

Although Abbavae are rather easy to use and handle, and cost you no money, they do have a price other than killing you if you overuse them. Being the children of Divus, they're programmed to be loyal to him first; you come second. You can't fight Divus with an Abbavae; it won't work and you'll have to fight him without it, if you decide to attack him.

DEATH

When using a Abbavae, you'll gradually move through the stages, if you enter stage two of your own will. In five posts of use it enters the third stage, in ten it reaches the third, and in another ten it becomes the fourth. You have to enter the fifth of your own will. The Abbavae generally slowly kill you with use until you beat your opponent. Also, if your Abbavae is not fused with your body, it will eat you if you lose the battle. Generally, regardless of how disciplined and well tempered your character is, Abbavae usage demands death, be it your enemy's or your own. The only exception is fusion Abbavae.

A Abbavae's demand for energy means it living off of you. It will kill you and eat your soul if you fail to satisfy it, or if you lose a fight. But in use of it you don't feel tired so you don't get tired, regardless of the amount of energy you feed it.
